Constructed of magnetic metal with a gray painted finish, the obverse with a raised slightly pebbled field depicting a German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, circumscribed GOTT MIT UNS (God with Us) along the top and decorated with a partial oak wreath on the bottom of the buckle, the reverse plain, with a soldered catch and a standard dual prong spring bar, unmarked but displaying paint repair where the
