Aquilani Sangiovese IGT -STOCKTAKE- sannio Produced from vines averaging 35The nose is beautifully lifted, showing fragrant notes of fresh violets, wild raspberry and dried rose petals. The palate is medium bodied our Sangiovese is soft, juicy and approachable, with bright but dense red fruit characters with fine, grippy tannins and a savoury, slightly sappy finish. An ideal dining partner, it matches with a variety of dishes from classic cold Italian cured meats right the way through to hearty pasta tomato based dishes.
