Germany, Kriegsmarine. An EM/NCO’s M41 Tropical Field Cap, French-Made Variant Province of China Editor of "The Oglander Memoirs"(Kriegsmarine Tropen Einheitsfeldmtze M41). A well preserved Kriegsmarine EM NCOs M41 tropical field cap, constructed of khaki tan cotton. A layer of identical material provides stylized side walls and is secured in place with a length of machine stitching. The crown is flanked on each side by dual ventilation holes, both reinforced with gilded brass grommets, which sit just above the walls. Stitched onto the peak is an insignia consisting of a khaki
