Its a big, bold, corn spirit made from Hopi blue corn. The whisky is smoked before being matured in a Pedro Ximenez cask. The Balcones distillery was founded in 2008 right in the heart of Texas. It all started in an old welding shop, under a bridge in Waco. After turning a workshop into a distillery, the first spirit ran in 2009. Making a true Texan style
